In one of the first few issues of Texas Life Magazine we were fortunate enough to have this talented young artist on our cover. We detailed her story of how she lived in Nashville as a teenager before moving to Texas. While in Texas, Kensie developed her talents and was waiting for the right time to try her luck again in Nashville.

Kensie began working with the right people here in Texas. People that recognized her abilities as both a talented songwriter and amazing performer. One of the people that helped Kensie the most was singer/songwriter Bernie Nelson. As an accomplished Nashville and Texas music songwriter, Bernie knew the right people in Nashville that could help get Kensie’s music to her already growing fan base. Her abilities as a songwriter quickly garnered the interest of Erv Woolsey.

They also represent Lee Ann Womack, Kylie Frey, the Davisson Brothers Band, Stone Senate, Zach Neil, Jaden Hamilton, and more.

The summer of 2017 Kensie made a trip to Nashville to meet Erv Woolsey and discuss the possibilities of joining their team. Hearing her original songs and recognizing real talent when he sees it, Kensie was signed to a three-year publishing contract with The Erv Woolsey Company.
