Then join us at the “Glen Rose Destination Wedding Show” on March 5, from 1:00-5:00 pm at the Somervell County Expo. Get a great start to your planning. We make a great destination for your wedding and wedding party!

Join us on March 8 from 11:00-1:00 pm to honor Somervell County’s Women of Somervell County history. This is Women’s History Month and we all have women that deserve celebration. The lunch and program is at Barnard’s Mill & Art Museum. Go to www.barnardsmill.org to make your reservations. This one is for my “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure” folks! Get out and enjoy your thrifting at the 4th annual “Out of the Dark” yard sale benefitting Suicide Prevention Awareness. If you enjoy finding treasures, I guarantee you will find something here on March 11-12 at Barnard’s Mill & Art Museum. The address is 307 SW Barnard St. In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, there will be a “Luck of the Irish Feast” on March 18, from 6:00-9:00 pm at Barnard’s Mill. This will be a dinner and entertainment for $ 50 per person. Be sure to “Wear your green for kisses and hugs, wear no green for pinches and bugs!” Come join the fun by making your reservation by March 5. For those art lovers, come and join us for “Art on the Paluxy” at Barnard’s Mill & Art Museum on March 25. Wine and cheese will be available and artists and their work will be displayed and sold. It is a beautiful evening to stroll the Mill, enjoy some art and make new friends.

Kids! What better way to spend Spring Break than to climb over the Big Rocks, hunt down Dinosaurs and play in the rivers. Big Rocks Park is free. You can climb, wade and just chill in the Paluxy River. You can find dinosaurs all over town! There are painted dinosaurs all over Glen Rose, not to mention actual dinosaur tracks on the Courthouse Square, Dinosaur Valley State Park, Dinosaur World and Creation Evidence Museum. Maybe you would prefer to go on safari and feed the wild animals. Be sure and check out Fossil Rim Wildlife Center to feed the giraffe and some of the other 1500 species of animals!
